Jose Chameleone
Joseph Mayanja, popularly known as Jose Chameleone, is a celebrated Ugandan musician and one of East Africa’s most influential artists. Born on April 30, 1979, in Kampala, Uganda, Chameleone began his music career in the late 1990s. He started out as a DJ and gradually transitioned into music, gaining popularity with his unique blend of Afrobeat, reggae, and dancehall influences. His breakout song, Mama Mia in 2000, established him as one of the icons in the East African music scene. His First project with Paddyman was Basima Ogenze but this was back then in the days of Dream studios before Audio1 Studios came on the scene. In 2012 courtesy of Audio1 Studios' very own, Paddyman released the Valuvalu all time hit. It is then that Audio1 Studios started working with Chameleone for his annual headline concert Song. Bobi Wine
Bobi wine started his music career in early 2000s with various music producers, these include but not limited to Cardinal, Rocky , Washington, Tony Houls among others. In 2006 paddyman joined the Kamwokya Dream studios owned by Bobi wine's big Brother Eddy yawe and this was the start of the long music journey that also saw the production of Bobiwine and Paddyman’s first music project Mama Mbire.
Paddyman’s production expertise and Bobi Wine’s lyrical authenticity resulted in iconic tracks like Bada, Kiwaani, and Bibuuzo, which not only topped charts but also became anthems for Uganda’s marginalized communities. The Christmas all-time Favorite cemented the two as legends in Uganda’s music industry.
However, it is impossible to talk about Bobi Wine without mentioning Nubian Li who has also been part of the journey until today. Bobi Wine’s Audio1 projects have been a blend of love melodies and activism. Bobi wine is one of the leading if not the leading social and political activists. Here are some of Bobi Wine's songs
